After the huge success of "Game of Thrones", HBO and George R.R. Martin hastily put together a sequel series based on the books that he had never written. The show would revolve around Kahl Drogos half-brother, Carl Drogo, and his on again off again romance with an out-of-town blonde with a secret past. 
   Carl Weathers and Angela Kinsey were tapped to star. The entire production fell apart when, in 2011, NBC cancelled The Office. As Kinsey was offered the role in Carl Drago, the publicity improved The Office's ratings and it was renewed, contractually requiring Kinsey to return to the show.

   Needless to say, Martin has never written the books anyway. 

   So, no real loss.
